Dingley’s Promise Training

We are proud to have completed Dingley’s Promise training, further strengthening our commitment to providing high-quality, inclusive early years experiences for every child.

Dingley’s Promise training has helped our team to develop our knowledge, skills and confidence in supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). It has encouraged us to reflect on our practice and consider how we can remove barriers to learning, participation and belonging.

We use what we have learned to ensure that our environment, activities and approaches are responsive to the individual needs of every child. We understand that every child is unique, and we strive to provide the right support and opportunities to help each child develop, learn and thrive.

What qualifications does your team hold regarding SEND?

Our dedicated team holds the Dingley's Promise Mark of Achievement, and our practitioners are trained Early Years Inclusion Champions. This specialist training ensures we are well-prepared to support children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) with confidence and compassion.

How do you accommodate dietary requirements and allergies?

We work in close partnership with parents and carers to manage all dietary needs, allergies, and medical requirements. We implement robust health and safety plans and adjust snack and meal routines to ensure every child stays safe and included.

How do you help every child feel welcomed alongside peers?

We design our activities and continuous provision so all children can participate and play alongside one another. By accepting each child's uniqueness and adjusting our spaces and tools, we create an environment where peer friendships and collaborative learning flourish naturally.

What types of additional needs do you support?
